| In a shared effort, Ridge Culver, Laurelton & St. Paul Fire Departments taught fire extinguisher safety to the fifth graders at Laurelton-Pardee School. Students had a brief lecture on how and when to use an extinguisher, different types of fires and the different types of extinguishers. Student then had a hands-on portion of class using a fire extinguisher prop and a fire extinguisher. We had four different class sessions with 20-25 students in each class. All the students and the teachers had an opportunity to participate! |
