| Ridge Culver Firefighters responded for their 3rd Structure Fire in 3 days on Friday Night. This fire occurred at the Sycamore Green Apartment Complex in Irondequouit and involved a 3rd floor apartment. Multiple calls reported smoke and flames from the building, and firefighters arrived to find a working fire. A well executed hose-line stretch to the 3rd floor resulted in a quick knockdown with the fire being placed under control 9 minutes after arrival. Heavy damage was sustained to the apartment, with no injuries to any firefighters or residents. Multiple smoke detectors were active and alerted residents of the fire.
