| As the weather has changed (hopefully), Marine 1776 is now in service and has already responded to it's first call for service on the bay. Throughout the spring and summer, our members will be regularly training on the vessel, ensuring we are ready for the boating season. Additionally, members of our marine unit meet regularly with other neighboring agencies that protect our waterways that also have marine units to continually help streamline operations. Those agencies include, The City of Rochester FD, West Webster FD and Lakeshore FD, US Coast Guard, Monroe County Sherriff, Border Patrol and DEC.
