95% of Active Members have begun Vaccination!

We are proud to report that 95% of our active personnel (comprised of both our career staff and our volunteer members) have received their first dose of the COVID19 vaccine!
With great effort from the Monroe County Fire Bureau and EMS Bureau, members and staff were able to quickly get in to receive their first dose. 2nd dose administration will begin next week. 7 days after 2nd dose administration ... (Full Story & Photos)

Explorer Post Recruitment

The Ridge Culver Fire District will be hosting a open enrollment recruitment event. Whether desiring a career in firefighting or wishing to become a volunteer firefighter, many firefighters today started their journey in the Explorer program. It is open to apply for young men and women, ages 14-20 years old.

Santa makes an early visit!

Santa had to adapt this year. Normally we have a Christmas party for the children of our members, and Santa comes to make an appearance. This year we had to adapt and bring Santa to our members houses so Santa could maintain social distancing. Santa also brought presents to the good boys and girls. Everyone got one!

Veteran's Day
Captain Mark Thomas, November 11
Ridge Culver FD, St. Paul FD, & Irondequoit Police Departments took a moment of the day to thank our veterans that have served our country. A short speech that was composed by FF Ian Palmer ( USAF) was read by Captain Thomas, followed by a round of applause for our veterans.
We would also like to thank our firefighters that have served in the US Armed Forces.

The new 182 is on the road!

Our new engine 182 has been in service for just a week now and has already served our residents. This truck replaces a 17 year old engine which is currently up for sale. We took advantage of the weather today and took some pictures to share with you!... (Full Story & Photos)
