Congratulations to recruits Oliveri and Pacheco

Last week probationary firefighters Oliveri and Pacheco graduated their recruit firefighting program after a 12 week academy. Their hard work did not go unnoticed and they continue to make us proud. Thank you to the Henrietta Fire District for hosting the academy and to all the instructors who made it possible.

Two structure fires in town last week

Career Firefighter Jeff Serenati, June 16

In a matter of three days Ridge Culver responded to two separate structures fires around town:

The first one was Monday afternoon on the south side of town for a house on fire on Hurstbourne Rd. Laureltons 160 arrived on location and confirmed a fire in the kitchen and asked for the remainder of the assignment which brought in two units from Ridge Culver and one from West Webster.

Welcome new career F.F. Matt LaFave!

Ridge Culver would like to welcome our newest addition to the career staff, Firefighter Matt LaFave.

F.F. LaFave is joining us after having served two years with the Brighton Fire District. F.F. LaFave will be working days for two weeks completing some in house training before starting his group schedule on group 2.

Congratulations to F.F. Brian Lamendola on your retirement!

Career Firefighter Jeff Serenati, May 14

After 17 years of dedicated service to the residents of the Ridge Culver Fire District and the Town of Irondequoit, Firefighter Brian Lamendola has worked his last shift on 5/26/21.

Brian is a veteran having served our country for four years from 1990-1994 in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd class.
