Just before 8 o’clock this morning Ridge-Culver responded for the report of an apartment on fire on Strathmore circle. 1C-18 arrived to find smoke showing from the ground floor apartment and declared a working fire. E-182’s crew made quick work of the fire which was knocked down and placed under control in less than 10 minutes from the time of dispatch. 1 dog was rescued from the apartment which suffered a little smoke inhalation. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Monroe County Fire Bureau. Thank you to our mutual aid and fill in companies: Laurelton, Point Pleasant, St. Paul and West Webster FD’s.

Thank you to Guy Zampatori for the pictures.
